South Bend Symphony Orchestra’s brass quintet will perform a 45-minute concert of military music and brass quintet favorites, presented in conjunction with the exhibit Manufacturing Victory. Between selections, museum curators and representatives of Conn Selmer will describe ways musical instrument manufacturers answered the call to service by producing items for the armed forces. Taking place on The History Museum’s Tuesley Amphitheatre, the event includes complimentary visits to Manufacturing Victory, which is presented by and spans both The History Museum and the Studebaker National Museum. The exhibit is open one hour prior to and 30 minutes following the performance.
